Westminster Staff

Owen Stepp joined the Westminster staff in October 2020. He has a calling to cultivate Christ-centered community where all people are invited to meet Jesus, grow in His likeness, and engage in His mission. He and his wife Carolyn met in Atlanta and it was there that God blessed them to become the parents of Anna Kate, Charlie, and Sarah. In his free time, Owen enjoys sports, travel, and sharing good barbecue with family and friends.

Leslie Dibble has been a part of the Westminster family for over 34 years and has served as the associate pastor since 2009. Leslie feels called to help people seek God in all facets of everyday life, and to be shaped more and more into the image of Christ.

Leslie and her husband Parkes have two married daughters, Hollister (Marcus) and Hannah (Reid) who are both in the nursing vocation.  A recent blessing has been the birth of a granddaughter, Mary Reid. Leslie enjoys reading, hiking, golfing, family time, and playing with her two dogs..

Brad Turnage joined the Westminster staff in August 2022. He has worked in youth ministry for nearly 20 years and has served alongside his wife Jamie since 2009. They both feel a deep calling to work with teenagers and their families and are committed to walking alongside both as they come to understand the deep love God has for them in Christ. In his free time Brad loves traveling, photography, darts and disc golf.

Jennifer Boyd joined the Westminster team with 15 years of experience in counseling both children and families. She's passionate about reaching children with the message of Jesus. She and her husband, Jason have five children and two cuddly dogs.

Heather Kim started playing the organ every Sunday at Westminster in 2020 and transitioned to Interim Music Director in February 2022. She loves gardening, especially veggies and fruits in her backyard. She is passionate about the three B's (Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms). Her favorite musical pieces are Scriabin's Le Poème de l'extase, Ravel's Piano Concerto in G Major, and Brahms' 3 Piano Quartets. Her favorite hymns are "How Great Thou Art" and "O Lord, my Rock and My Redeemer."

Susan Hemphill joined the Westminster Team in 2022. She has one daughter who is married and has one grand kitty. You’ll find her walking the greenways enjoying nature. She also enjoys working in her flower beds and watching the birds in her yard. Committed to serving others in need, she is a Stephen Minister. She is also active in her church, Myers Park United Methodist, where she is a member of the Administrative Board.

Kevin Davis joined the Westminster team in 2022 though he has been a part of the WPC family for ten years. Kevin is also an ordination candidate with ECO. He and his wife, Lisa, love exploring the great outdoors and, most of all, spending time with their baby daughter, Annabelle. You will know Kevin by his cowboy boots and encyclopedic knowledge of both country music and systematic theology!

Esteban Barrera joined the Westminster team in 2021. He is married to Hannah, and they joyfully welcomed their daughter, Josie, in 2021. In addition to A/V work, Esteban enjoys playing piano and basketball.

Nancy White moved from Oregon to Charlotte in 2014 to be closer to family. In joining our team, she brought 15 years of church secretary experience!
